Hi,

What do you think of the way people drive in Azerbaijan? How different is it from your home country?

Respecting the road safety rules, driving etiquette such as general courtesy, speed excess… what are the characteristics of the driving style in Azerbaijan?

Share with us the difficulties one may face when driving in Azerbaijan: peak hours, road conditions, accident, etc. and your advice to drive safely in the country.

Thank you in advance for participating,

Maximilien

I worked in Baku for exactly two years (just recently) and I had only lived there for about two weeks when I decided that I would never drive a vehicle in that city. For me, after New Delhi, it is the most dangerous city I have ever visited in which to drive - and I have been to 34 different countries in my time. Do what I did; hire a driver to take you wherever you needed to go in the city - I paid my driver a fixed monthly fee and was definitely the way to go. Hope this helps.
