I want desperately to move to Croatia and do have relatives there but am not sure how to go about it. Do I need a Visa?

Simply notify your relatives about it. ofc you will need a visa and you just have to tell your relatives to go the public notary to write and invitation letter and send to you. Simple as ABC. You will go to the Croatian embassy in your state and give them the posted original invitation letter with your health insurrance, bank statement. when you come in Croatia theen you will see what is next to do on getting the permanent stay.
