HI

We have been to Thailand many times and love the country.  I am wanting to come over next year from July until October.  This would be for the June/July school holidays and take the kids out of school for one term for their 3rd term and home school. My son will be in Grade 5 and possibly let my daughter who would be in Grade 2 go to a school for a term, or home school as well.

Any advise of home school groups ?

Hi Claudia,

If you are looking for international schools, some have waiting list in Thailand of more than a year, need to check directly with them, kid will need to have a visa if they are not Thai citizen and I am not aware of school accepting kid for only 1 term, as usually you pay all year in advance or by semester, depending on school. Fees will vary a lot around 200,000 THB to over 500,000 THB per year depending on the school, the age of the kid.

All international schools can be found here : http://isat.or.th/schools

Enter Phuket in the field "area" on the right, you can also filter the education system you are looking for.

Good luck in your search.

Ate you coming out this July?

claudia Cape Town

Well things have changed, slightly!

We are coming this June and July, but for 6 weeks, missing 3 weeks of school.

Thanks for the replies

Thanks so much for the info.

We are not only coming for 6 weeks, we are missing 3 weeks of school, so all is well.

Would love my kids to visit a school for a day, and to experience the schooling system in Phuket

:)
