Aftercare and Nannies

Does anyone know of an aftercare in the North? I need someone to look after my toddler before school starts, in 2 weeks, as I have work commitments. I was also wondering what is the going rate of paying a maid/nanny?

I think you will find the answer to your questions on the FB page called Mums of the North, as the title says it is for mums who live in the North, Most mums have a nanny to help them out with care of their children. FB Page: Mums of the North - This group was created for Mums of children of all ages; to exchange ideas, experiences and advice on everyday issues relating to children, their well-being and education.

I have just had a look on their page, lovely friendly group of mums and a few ladies no longer require their nannies due to their children too old, so a few recommended ones are available.

Not sure if it appropriate to post on here what I pay my maid, although I have no problem if anyone wants to know, she is good, trustworthy and reliable therefore I pay her well
