Easy or hard - that depends on your expectations for the distance from ? and for the rent. You shall not expect to find an apartment in Copenhagen. In general all apartments in Denmark are either very expensive, or there is a waiting list of several years. Besides, they are always rented out unfurnished as they are meant for long-term rental. When you move out, you will have to pay for a total refurbishing. To say it frankly, forget all about apartments.

The only possibility will be to find a room with access to kitchen and bath. Maybe, you will also find them very expensive. I do.

In my opinion the very best will be to share an apartment with another in the same situation. Sometimes people in this forum seek a roommate. You could also have a look at this site: http://www.findroommate.dk/vaerelser/denmark/copenhagen or at this: http://www.boligportal.dk/lejebolig/soe … php?page=1 (where I have searched a rent up to 8,000 Kr.)

Use the sites as a price indicator. Never, never rent an apartment in advance because there are fraudsters among the advertisers. Check if the 'owner' is the real owner, get the key instead of excuses for not having it etc.

There are other possibilities. We may come back to them later if it becomes germane.
