I am planning to move to SMA from Houston in 2016. I am an artist, but need the opportunity to become part of the community and help people who might not otherwise have opportunities to learn English, art or whatever I can do. I would like information regarding the Biblioteca or other organization who sponsors such projects. Theo Billings

Biblioteca is a great place to volunteer.

Feed the Hungry and So Others May Eat are also great organizations.

There are many NGO's in SMA doing volunteer work of all kinds. There are surely several that will peak your interest. I am a Rotarian, and also volunteer with SOME (So Others May Eat).
There is also a Lions Chapter, Casita Linda, Casa, and the list goes on and on.
