Hello everybody!

i am from Morocco, and really interested into moving to Denmark. I found out about the danish green card scheme. In the official website, it is stated that the only criterion in order to be granted a GC. is to have more than 100 points. So my question is: are you automatically granted a GC if you got 100 points? or is there a quota regarding green cards available for the year? lets say, i got 120 points. am i automatically going to Denmark?

What does this means Automatically here?

If you got 120 points,, simple thing is follow the website, collect the docs what they asking for. send them ur application and they will get back to you based on ur docs assessments. They dont have any quotas as far my understanding.

If you follow the link, you'll see which requirements you have to meet for a green card and how much you shall pay for it. Getting the green card may not be so difficult, but finding a job when first here will most likely be very difficult. You shall therefore weigh up all pros and cons before you decide to go for a green card.

Thank you for your kind reply.

Can i pursue studies with this green card or is it only for work purpose?

Thanks a lot

You will find much information about your questions here:

Let's start with the studies. They are not free as you aren't from the EU/EEA and Switzerland.

As you see from the regulations, it is possible to work up to 20 hours a week.

However, our starting point is that you are a green card holder, not a student. Are you allowed to take a course or two while here, and what will it cost? I would suggest that you put the question to the university which provides the course/courses.

Another matter is whether it is realistic to combine work and study? You have to earn a rather high amount to fulfill the income requirements of the green card scheme.

Thank you for your reply, it helps a lot!
