Can any body recommend an IT guy, specialist, in HCMC. I need a CD opened containing X-rays that I can't open

nhokmon

which district are u living? I will give some address near ur house and u can go to fix it

jameskeep

Thanks I am living in Saigon Pearl close to D!

nhokmon

U can go to Bui Thi Xuan street in district 1, there has a lot of IT fix shop. But when my laptop has problem, i always bring it to Thanh Nhan for fixing.

Thanh Nhan Computer (TNC Company): u go the upstair to ask about fix ur laptop or computer. They will tell you the price clearly

Add: 174 - 176 - 178 Bui Thi Xuan, Phạm Ngũ Lão Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh city
Hotline: 1900 6078

*** If the CD contain the picture in JPEG, it will easily to fix maybe ur CD/DVD has trouble. but if the CD contain speacially software just be able to read by X-ray software, it will too hard, u have to ask Hospital/Doctor to help you

jameskeep

Thanks but I don't have a problem with my computer it is a CD that I need to open. Do you think they can do that?

U can go to Nova Shop : 16 Ton That Tung street, Ben Thanh Ward, District 1, HCMC
or Thanh Nhan Computer 174 Bui Thi Xuan street, Pham Ngu Lao ward, District 1 HCMC

some small shop has a cheating but the Nova or Thanh Nhan are 2 companies working for a long time. I'm vietnamese and I think they are good enough

Might try this before you ask the hospital. Put the CD in the computer and when it shows up, don't try and open it. Right click on it and when you see properties click on it and it should tell you what program is needed to open it.  From there you should be able to change it and open it with a program on your computer or get one on line. Worth a try anyway. It might be locked to that program but then your going to have to take it back.

If you just use or normal (office work, internet, music ect..)  u can buy Dell PC without VGA (just use VGA onboard, it will be cheaper), Ram 2Gb (or 4Gb), HDD 500GB ~ 1Tb (depend on how u need), Pentium I3 is ok. I'm a designer, I always use Dell PC for Intel chip (AMD's cooler than but I like to use Intel)

Dell has a PC set, u just go to the IT shop and buy a PC of Dell, dont use assemble pc if u don't know clearly about PC hardware
