This is getting old.

Every week, one of these sad sacks comes begging for papers, and how to get around the gatekeepers at the Brazilian Consulate.

Do you know what????

Your chances, between the rubber stampers and your standing with Brazilian Females ain't looking good.

Try Russia.   Forget Brazil,.

Last I heard, they sending under 18's to War as conscripts.   Wars decimate your male pool of available mates.

Russia and Ukraine already had problems before the war broke.  The pool of qualified males was already short, given the stereotypical Russian being often  inebriated.  So add one and two, you are going to sit pretty tall.

If you don't drink, no matter how broke you are, and  if you manage past the Urals and the winter, and Siberia, chances are,, once the females see you on your stroll, as care free as Donald Duck before Daisy snagged him, you will be snatched by a Russian or Ukrainian Female, anywhere from Babushka to 10 Grade.

Why wait for the 1000 virgins????  Try Rusky.

These lads never quit!!!

Naik Mohmmad

how are you friends we have a friend from brazil now he sent us an invitation i applied visa in islamabad brazil embassy still not reply us

abthree

01/03/23 @Naik Mohmmad.  The Embassy is probably just returning to regular working hours this week after the Christmas shutdown, and is starting to work through the backlog of applications.  Yours is in the stack, in the order it was received.

There is no deadline.  They'll process it when they get to it.  Send them an inquiry by email every 30 days, if it makes you feel better; it probably won't either help or hurt.

Even the Brazilian Consulate here in the United States is not giving any timeline when you can expect a reply. You just have to submit your documents and wait. One thing l know is that if you have ANY mistakes on the documents it will be refused.

@James Greeting sir my name are Geba Ambrose Tafili I'm from Cameroon living in UAE 🇦🇪 Abu Dhabi I'm looking for tourist visa to visit Brazil 🇧🇷 for short holiday and I do this reaches and found this platform please I need your advice how to go about it or having a friend who can give me invitation. Thanks and wish you all the best expecting to hear from you.

abthree

01/14/23 @Peter Geba Favour. Good morning.  James passed away several years ago, but I can respond to your question.

It is practically impossible to obtain an invitation letter to Brazil without an existing close connection to a Brazilian citizen or legal resident.   The author of the letter must accept financial and legal responsibility for the visitor, which a stranger is unlikely to do.

Your best bet for a tourist visit to Brazil would be to join a tour group conducted by a travel agency that take responsibility for requesting visas and for the departure of the group at the end of the tour.

@James Hello

I have a friend in Brazil. He wants to invite me. Where does the process of inviting him to Brazil start? What should the young man do first? I hope you can share the information.

Good morning.  Send this link to your friend.  It includes the information he needs to prepare an invitation letter:

Can I submit Brazil tourist Visa application on behalf of someone else?

Why would you do that?  Do you mean just typing it into the system for the person with them beside you because they can't type, or do you mean impersonating them?

kamara3830

@abthree no I am not impersonating her, she is my wife and we are planning to go on a vacation but in my country there is no Brazilian embassy except we travel to another country to do the submission so I was hoping to take along her documents and mine to the country and submit for both of us.

That sounds entirely legitimate, then.  But to prevent misunderstandings, I would recommend sending an email to the Brazilian Embassy where you'll be going, letting them know that this is your plan, and confirming that you can do it this way.  Best of luck to you.

kamara3830

Can a single invitation to Brazil contain more than one name for example my name, my wife name and my younger sister's name since we are traveling together for a vacation?

-@kamara3830

I would think so if your sister is a minor, as long as the letter was clear about the identities and relationships of all three of you.  If your sister is an adult, she should probably have an invitation letter of her own.  Again, you should confirm all that with the Embassy.

Be aware that three family members traveling together may raise suspicions on the part of the Consulate that you might plan to stay in Brazil illegally, so be sure to have plenty of proof of your ties to your home country and your plans to return there.

I'm sorry, but there is no way to bypass the line to obtain asylum in Brazil.  All you can do is register and wait your turn.  You should also try through the UNHCR.

@abthree hello dear sir, Please is it possible you could tell me some more information regarding the invitation letter that can be given by a brazilian citizen or permanent resident. For which type of visa is this eligible for? Thank you very much.

Good afternoon.  Please see Post #20 in this thread, above.  It provides the information that you're looking for.  Invitation letters are required for any work-related visas, and for visitor visas, including tourist visas, for citizens of most countries outside the Western Hemisphere and Europe.

08/29/23 @soie5 help me brother my friend is going to send me invitation letter but she needs to make strong letter what we should do
-@Rafiullah Hamkar

Good afternoon.  Send this link of a model invitation letter to your friend:

https://www.jusbrasil.com.br/modelos-pe … 1127133651

She should fill in the required information, have her signature on the letter authenticated at her local cartório (notary office) and send it to you to present with the documents supporting your request.  She should keep several authenticated originals, in case one is lost.

You cannot buy an invitation letter from a stranger to come to Brazil. Invitation letters are inspected very carefully by the Brazilian authorities, and the people who write them are questioned. It is illegal to buy an invitation letter from a stranger, or to sell one.

Anyone offering to sell you an invitation letter is trying to cheat you and steal your money, so please don't be deceived. It will not get you into Brazil.

Nomad Mundo

A bonafide traveler doesn't require an invitation letter considering the Brazilian embassy only requests vacation bookings. The necessary paperwork, such as the letter supporting the visa, is provided by a travel agent itself.

Brazilian Embassy's advisory:-

Sadly, sham marriages are a typical kind of immigration fraud. Sham weddings happen when two individuals, who have no intention of starting a life together, obtain a marriage certificate under false pretenses in order to receive an immigration benefit. They are frequently motivated by financial gain or misguided attempts to do someone "a favor," but they can also be the result of other motives. During the procedure, the parties frequently break the law by making false statements under oath. Sham marriage schemes can have serious repercussions, such as prosecution, denial of a visa, and the principal applicant's and his or her children's ineligibility for visas, which will prevent them from entering Brazil.

The Brazilian Embassy uses a variety of tools, including anonymous community inputs, to identify fictitious marriages.

Please read the posts in this thread.  Unless you already have a friend or a family member already living legally in Brazil who is willing to accept responsibility for you, you can't.

For consideration as a refugee, you should apply either through the UNHCR or to a Brazilian Embassy.

For specific information, you should contact the Brazilian Embassy in Yaoundé by email here:  consular.iaunde@itamaraty.gov.br

The Yaoundé embassy does not appear to be equipped to process eVisas, but you can confirm that in your email to them.

Good morning, Sami.  Send this link to your friend.  It's a model for an Invitation Letter that includes all the necessary information and commitments that are required:

https://www.jusbrasil.com.br/modelos-pe … 1127133651

Some important points to keep in mind:

  • when your friend reads the letter, he may not feel that he is able to make the necessary commitments.  Many internet friends would not, so don't be too disappointed if it doesn't work out.
  • if he does prepare the letter, he should have his signature authenticated at his local cartório (registry office) for use at the Embassy.
  • having an Invitation Letter does NOT guarantee a visa.  Issuing a visa is a discretionary act of the Brazilian Embassy, and the staff there can grant or refuse a visa based on their own judgment.

Please do not put contact information (phone numbers, etc.) in Forum posts; it's ok to put them in Direct Messages to other members.

Good morning, Javid.  Please read the posts in this thread.  Unless you already have a friend or a family member already living legally in Brazil who is willing to accept responsibility for you, you cannot get an invitation letter.  Placing the same post in many threads will not help you:  and the answer will always be the same.
