I think regulars will know my answer....

Never come to Malaysia without a job (unless a trailing spouse) or you are worth more than 1 million dollars (!) in free assets.

If you have to ask random strangers to help you then DOH! (homer Simpson if you don't know). Try networking via current career contacts first.

it really helps to say what skills and quals you have plus age. Degree min age 27 min (except ICT) and high quality skill set in short supply in Malaysia.

If you are a 22 year old business studies graduate running from a near failed state (you have my sympathies but billions live in these countries) then Malaysia isn't for you. If an oil and gas engineer with ten years experience yes great prospects (bit worse recently but...) or a Chemistry teacher with QTS from UK then easy peasey
