Hi All,
I am looking to come to Panama for a vacation with my wife and to look at the type of real estate that is available for posible retirement in a few years. I would like to know a couple of inexpensive hotels and where to stay during my trip. I am looking for a beach and a nice town and a place where high rise condos are going up for sale. I would rather not do too much driving my first time there so a taxi into town or a long safe walk is more what I had in mind. We will be coming in mid october and will be staying for a week. Any guidence would be great.

Hotel Riande is not cheap.  We stayed there in August of 2011 and they charged $176 per night for two people!
