Hello guys!

I'm Diana currently in Manila.  I'm doing this on behalf of my sister.  She's been living in Rio Preto for 2 months.  She's feeling lonely and helpless.  She and her husband came from Japan.  They loss their job due to global financial crisis and so chose to leave for Brazil.

Can you please give us advice on how she can find a job?  Unfortunaltely she's undergraduate.  But she's learning to speak and understand portuguese.

"Kabayans" help us.. please...

kabayan does she speak english well? because its the only job she can have right now specially if her portuguese is not good yet. I can suggest she start to send her resumes right now since the semester is about to be close, and normally English school here they start to hire already for the next semester so they can train them. unfortunately though, I am in Sao Paulo, It would be better if were near from each other, so i can meet her, coz i passed that staged too, but she need to be strong. right now I am feeling better.

Well your sister need time to know portuguese, then in firsts months she can work only in home or maybe have a house work, for example cook and sell food, I hear good things about filipino food. She can begin teach english, many person will like to train how to talk in english (conversation) then she can do it only talking in english. After, when she know more portuguese, can try be a teacher of english in a school (stable job)
