Hi,

When settling in Sudan, one of the priorities is to be able to make phone calls.

How to proceed to get a landline installed in Sudan?

What are the mobile operators?

What is your average monthly budget?

Thank you in advance for sharing your experience,

Maximilien

sudan is cheap as far as telcommunication is concern, there are four players in the market with high and unlimited 3g plans.
average monthly bills will not be more than 15$

Hello everyone

Idon't think you need a Landline really.

Companies are Zain, Mt, Sudani (which means Sudanese in arabic) & canar (landline & internet only).

Average budget 15 to 20$

I dont recommend using VOIP unless if ur going to subscribe to a fast DSL as 3G is not that fast which was a problem sadly.

When choosing a wireless internet whether its a 3G modem or other options my advice is fist know where u will live then try all four companies from a friend & buging the one thats working well.

Teleco are very rich in Sudan but in the last year because of not getting enough pressure from the Gov in my opinion they went from best communication in africa to one of the worst i am talking about mobile internet only.
