Transferring to Ruwais

I am currently in Abu Dhabi and was told I do not have enough experience at the school I have been working at for the past year, so they are transferring me to Ruwais. I thought that Ruwais is still in the same Emirates, so why am I waiting soooooo long for a security clearance? Its been nearly two months now.

Hi Suncinny,
Ruwais is in the same emirate , 300 km far from Abu Dhabi city. ruwais is one of the largest oil & gas installation/ refinary& shipping location in UAE.. of course security approval required to work this location.

Most probably because Ruwais is a petroleum complex and needs special security clearance
