Travelling to Tahiti next month. Anybody can guide me?

Hi I'm newbie here and just wondering if anybody can guide me ?
I am traveling to Tahiti next month and I have no Idea whats gonna be like. I don't know much of the place so if some one can at least give me some tip during stay i'd really appreciate :)
