My husband and I have just bought a house in Peyia, and will be visiting in the next couple of weeks, to get our keys.  We will be having a trial run staying in our new house during this visit. We will move permanently next year.
Can anyone recommend a good reliable and cheap taxi company. We won't be bringing our cars, and will hire a car for the first couple of months, when we move, until we buy one.

Thanks

Linda

no taxis are cheap here - although we find Alekos pretty good and reliable - I will PM you his number - depending where you are in Peyia and how many are travelling it will be approx €7-10 for two people - the prices go up for the same journey if there are more people in the taxi

in terms of shopping at the main supermarket Phillipos - you could get a taxi (the local bus service for the village area is minimal and only runs till about 4pm and the route isnt good for the village) get there and they will bring you back home and help you unload all your shopping  FOR FREE
