Cairo calling!

why did you move to Cairo?

Why...The bug hit in -97. Two yrs in Spain and 2 yrs in UAE. "Few yrs" back in Finland and now here in Cairo since March this year.
My husband is "quilty" me being here!
One day he asked if I was interested to move to Egypt. Where? Why not! About one month and we were here.

Living abroad is so interesting that once you've started it's difficult to stop

But WHY is it difficult to stop?
Do we think that it's somehow better somewhere else? Once hit by the bug you're hooked?
OR don't we feel at home any more in our home country?
That's what happened to me.
Rootless? Restless? You're not the same when you return but life back home is the same as you left...You know what I mean?

My younger son is living in Beijing. He got the bug too because he was with us when we started...oooh quilty parents! But he's happy there which is the most important thing!
