Chronic meds

Post new topic

Karin Staples

When moving to Mauritius from South Africa is it possible to just get your chronic meds with a South African doctor's script?
I apologize for all the questions. Thanks for all your help so far.

What do you mean by chronic needs??
If you are on medication you can bring along your medicines supply whatever you are able to get then bring in your repeat prescription in order to buy your supply at any of the pharmacies.  I am on lots of medication and since I don't pay for mine in the Uk I try and get sufficient supply to last my stay as I tend to visit UK every two to three months.
If you have to see a doctor privately in Mauritius you will have to pay for your medication at the pharmacy.
