Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help me. I've been offered a job in Oman and would very much like to take my partner with me?! What, exactly, are the rules and regulations about couples living together?

Hi Clofas,

Your partner cannot be on your family joining visa, until and unless you are able to furninsh proper marriage documents.

However, living together is possible, if your partner is also on an employment visa, in which case you both can rent a place and stay together as man and wife, for all practical purposes.

Else, your partner cannot stay here for any extended period of time since visit visa can be the only option, which comes with a validity period of 3 months + 1 month extension. A 3-month wait period comes between each issuance of a visit visa.
