Hi,

I am planning to relocate to Tunis.

Please advice me on the below general things about life in Tunis

Cost of living?
Avarage Salary income for an admin kind of Job?
Rental cost for a one bedroom flat/apartment?
Cost of Transportation taxi/public transport?

let me know any other relevant info.

I have been living in Tunis for the past 9 months(in and out though in between).

As an expat, i believe $2000 per month will ideally suffice for comfortable living. Though i guess ppl survive with very less money.

Apartment Costs (All furnished) -
I have lived in 4 different houses in different areas in Tunis.
LAC posh area - 1000 to 1400 dinar for 2 bedroom apartments
El menzah - 600 to 800 dinar for 2 bedroom houses(little worn out though)
En Nassr (lots of apartments to choose from) - 600 to 1000 dinar and they all are really good and well equipped for furnished apartment.

Taxi - Distance of 1 to 2 Kms will cost you 2 Dinar and even the farthest place you can travel within 10 dinar inside Tunis i believe.

Admin Jobs - Sorry, dont have info on the tunisian job and salary line.
