Working in KSA on a Business Visa

Post new topic

Is it legal to take up a position and work full-time in KSA on a Business Visa?  What would the ramifications be for the individual and/or the Company if caught (assuming it is illegal).

Ali_N

Nope...Deportation, Fine and future ban for entry to KSA until and unless you're working for the company that has provided you the business visa....

aren't u going a bit extreme?

A lot of companies are employing staff on business visa and pay them in their home country.

Maybe OP needs to clarify what exactly he wants before we jump to a conclusion.

I've mentioned if it's same company then no issues...What I've stated is that he comes on a business visa from company 'a' and works for company 'b'...

oh true true my bad.

also some consulting companies are staffing their employees on business visa at their client sites which also is acceptable as long as there is a contract between two companies.

Why does it say on my Business Visa , NOT PERMTTED TO WORK' if I am permitted to work for the Company that got me the Visa??

hamudi

I believe there are two types of business visa,

1) Business work visa - which is transformed to Iqama
2) Business visit visa - where supposedly you should be just having a business visit but employers get it due to some government complications. I believe that's the one you have which says "not permitted to work"

Other can chime in on tht
