Salary of Senior Document Controller

Hello everyone, I am presently working as Senior document Controller in one of the big Construction company here in Jeddah with a salary of 9500 Riyal with free food, transportation and accommodation. I have around 18 years experience in Construction field with more than 10 years directly as Document Controller. This week, a British consultancy and Project management company invited me for a Job interview for a position of Senior Document Controller. The company is one of the biggest firm in UK and the project is huge.
Now, can someone advise me how much package do I need to ask at a maximum considering that I'm still working (and they know it) and how much housing or transportation allowance do I need to ask because as I was informed, the company does not have a housing provided to its employee but only giving allowances.
BTW, I am Asian but continuously working in the Middle East for the past 10 years now. Does someone in this Forum working in a British Consultancy and project management company?
Please, I need your input on this. Thank you in advance for your reply....

Hi there

I can not advise how much to ask for, since i am not familiar with this job description.

But i can tell you and assure you 9500 ryal for 18 yrs of experience is very lowww. But unfortunatly work in arab world = experience and nationality.
So since you are applying for a British company i think they wont care about your nationality , they'll care about the experience.
You can take the salary you started with and add 10% on each year.

Thank you for your reply ARC. Dina. Yes you are correct, my present salary can be low with regards to my experience but that is the sad reality here in Saudi Arabia, salary depends on Nationality. Pardon me for not mentioning the name of the company at this time as a matter of privacy.

I hope for more reply as I need information on the current market standard for this position...

Hi, i would advise you make a double od your current salary as an asking. Your experience really worths it .

I think what you are getting 9500sr it's already match to your experience don't expect more than that on your level, as I am having 14 Years plus experience in similar field plus additional fields too with different companies, and I am having half of yours, this is the worst truth in my life as i can't find other job since so long.

You are lucky what you have , but if you have opportunity for new job, grab it with additional 25% can be good for you to start with them.

Yes you are right being Asian (Nationality) hard to get good package even we have experience, education and skills to full fill their need.
