Office in Ta'Xbiex, which neighborhood/area is good for living?

Hi All,

I'm new to this forum:)

We will relocate to Malta next month together with my husband. I got a job in Ta'Xbiex. After reading about the traffic situation in Malta, I feel it's better to live close to where I work....

So here comes the question...Sliema, Pieta or Msida? Any suggestions?Tips?

We are quiet people who don't party a lot. Safe and quiet neighborhood would be ideal for us.

if you want to avoid traffic i would give pieta and msida a miss ,

ta xbiex and gzira possibly you may find the kind of place you want here and still at a reasonable price but be aware house prices have reason a lot so dont expect to get much change from €1000 in these areas

you also need to be aware that seasonal variations in house prices have started early this year as easter has been early

Sliema and "Safe and quiet neighborhood would be ideal for us." just don't go together

plus Sliema has probably the highest rents on the island, and they are going up recently, so to find something decent for under 1000e is mission impossible
