Visiting parents in muscat with toddler. (car seat question)

Hi,
I'm planning to come visit my parents in Muscat next month. Although I have been before, I didn't have a 2 year old then. My issue is that I have no idea what to do about a car seat. We wont be hiring a car as there would be no point but I would need one for parents cars. Is there somewhere to hire one, or somewhere where people sell 2nd hand things online? I really don't want to buy one new as its unlikely that we will be back again.
