Hello,

To APPLY for being permanent resident you need have live minimum 10 years in Brunei. Even then, it is not always successful.
Try a regular working visa first, by getting hired by a local company.

Brunei is a nationalistic country that favours its citizens in all areas(M.I.B)is an abbreviation for their national goal to achieve sucess for locals,esp business its getting harder for foreigners to do business as they tighten the noose with new rules.you've come at the wrong time to do business,dont believe what the local papers write about brunei attracting foreign investment,many have wished it was so but come away dissapointed
of course look on the bright side of life"money doesn't care who makes it"
