This article is interesting. Although it is unlikely to go through, if it ever does, it means that the US would also remove the EU bloc from the VWP. I hope that the European Commission isn't as dumb as they sound...

With such lax security in the EU, I'm almost at the point where I think no one in the EU should be able to travel here without a Visa.

I know what you mean, but with lax security at our own borders, I don't think it matters.

That's a start. It stops them before the border. I don't want to stop immigration or visitors, I just want the US to look at who comes in.
