Scuppered work plan, any ideas or job leads?

Hi everyone,
We have been massively let down by my husbands company who after agreeing he could work remotely has now rescinded their offer!
As you can imagine, we are in complete disarray as we were on our way to join our family in Malta.

We have been frantically trying to get him or myself a position there, has anyone got any job leads? Or know of anything?
I know its a huge ask, but I am pulling my hair out at this end! You are all so supportive on here that I thought it worth a mention!
He's currently working as a HR/Office Manager ( although he's a Barrister) but he's found that people think he's too over qualified for office work, which is rubbish as he love his job. I've suggested he drops the Legal part off of his CV to see if that helps!
