In retrospect, would you move again to Barbados?

Hi all,

If you had to look back on your expat experience in Barbados, would you heartily say "let’s do it again"?

From the preparation stage to your actual everyday life in your new country, what did you enjoy the most?

Would you do certain things differently? Could you tell us why?

How would you describe the benefits of your expatriation in Barbados so far?

Thank you in advance for sharing your experience. We look forward to hearing from you!

No I wouldn't do it again . We found it difficult to live in Barbados for various reasons.
My wife could not work without a work permit which you will not get as the govement make it very difficult to obtain one .
You can only stay on the island for six months at a time then you have to come off.
We went to the immigration for residency as I am retired and had no intention of working but we're told wrong forms had been filled in again . Load of rubbish .
We have a house on the island which we are now trying to sell as we won't be returning on a permanent basis . Hope this helps .
