Hi

do we need to have visa fr Bahrain.. I have Indian passport..iqama fr resident in Riyadh- Saudi Arabia

if we go my car..what is required fr border crossing?

shld we put exit-reentry visa??

Exit/re-entry visa and istrama for car. If you don't own car you must have letter of permission.

MM correct. Also 20SAR causeway toll, 30 SAR car insurance. 20 SAR (2BD) toll to return as well.

Done it 3 times, well worth it. Go for it!!!

Well words of advice for first timers:

1. Go on wednesday afternoon, by evening, the rush will be hectic!
2. Dont wait till friday night to get out, again the same story.

the standard rules of saudi arabia apply otherwise on this side of the bridge.

There is a cost for Bahrain Visa for Indians/Pakistanis/Bangladeshis.

I went with with a few friends, one of whom had a Pakistani Passport, and he had to pay for the visa. Every one else had a UK passport and it was free.

You can use Saudi Riyal in Bahrain.

10 Saudi Riyal = 1 Bahrain Dinar

As above just avoid Wednesday Evening/Night and Friday Evenings.

There is a customs check on the way back from Bahrain to Saudi, never been a problem, they do look at what luggage your carrying if anything. No big deal. (as long as you dont bring back anything illegal!!)

You will need exit and re-enty visit.
