Dear prisciila.

Uganda is an equatorial country.
The main character of the weather is hot and humid.
10-11 months of year has rain at least once in 24 hour.
1 month dry season.
Maximum temp is around 35 C.
Minimum about 25 C.
Mosquito are abundant and you may catch Malaria flu cough etc.
Very good lust green country due to perennial rain.
Though the rain is not as sever as Indian monsoon of south western India but due to long rainy period you may develop some conditions.
Usually most part of the year cloud disappear once the rain id done.
Moreover hospitals and clinics are designed and made for Ugandan people and may be we need to go far for good clinics and hospitals.
This drawback is compensated by  loving Ugandan people.
People are very good and friendly in controlled work places and cities.
How ever wandering alone after wee hour is not advised.
