I have a plan to apply SRRV VISA in next year and invest on some properties, most likely several apartments and hire a few local people to take care and rent it out on Airbnb.

would it be any risk (legal, tax) involve in such kind of business?  Thanks,

Yes,
If you rent out to companies they sometimes ask if your registered with BIR (tax authority)
