Cost of moving our dog to Cambodia?

Post new topic

miabaker86

I live in the United States and I was wondering if anyone had any experience moving their dog to Cambodia from the US? We are trying to figure out how much it would cost us to fly him over to Cambodia. He is a lab mix and about 45lbs.
Any help would be great.

Sorry the title should say, "Cost of moving our dog to Cambodia"

I've modified the title of the discussion ;)

I brought my dog from The Netherlands, paid 60 Euro for the flight from Dusseldorf (Germany) to Bangkok and from Bangkok to Phnom Penh the overweight was charged, being USD4/1 kg.

Now he is living happily in Banlung, Ratanakiri :cool::cool:

Airlines do ship animals here. You do have to consider that the dog will need to be seadated for a really long time (24+ hrs) which could be stressful for a dog. I had to leave my cat at my son's house as I couldn't sedate her for that long. Also, be sure you have the dogs shots up to date. In Sihanoukville, there are very few animal docs, so that is another factor to consider. PP is much better. Good luck
