Take a look round The Bull Ring. Boots, M&S, Debenhams, New Look to name some of the stores you can find in Riyadh. Along with lots of others Carrefour, Ikea McDonolds, KFC etc Riyadh is a kink of USA meets UK/Europe.

Yep I think every mall of which I have lost count has a Boots of various sizes.

Your major culture shock will not be food or the normal everyday things it will be getting about!  Currently there is no real mass public transport and as a woman you cannot drive so you are restricted to taxis. The best thing you can do is download two apps onto your phone the big one everyone knows Uber and the other Careem then talk to the drivers and you will get an offer for a mobile number to pick you up off of the system so at a reduced rate.
