Hi Sharona,

Where in Johannesburg are you visiting?

Tina

Hi Tina I will be around Sandton City..
Thanks for replying :)

TinaNoreen

I love places with lots of art & culture and you should definitely visit Maboneng (Chill at Uncle Merve's) &in  Braamfontein and have cocktails at The Living Room, have the best Nanchos in town at the Smokehouse & Grill , and visit Neighbourgoods Market (Saturday & Sunday).  Sandton you can eat at Doppio Zero or Tashas and see the Michaelengolo Towers, Nelson Mandela Square.

Mellville (close to Rosebank) is a nice place to bar hop at night (7th Avenue) thats the name of the street with bars on both sides of the road, if you are into clubbing and all. During the day you can check out 27 Matchboxes, a mall in Mellville and have cronuts or eat at the Turkish Restaraunt there.

You could hop on the Gautrain from Sandton and go all the way to Hatfield or drop off in Pretoria and sight see. You could also drop off in Rosebank and check out the Zone & Rosebank Mall and have coffee at Starbucks & buy traditional African things at the Rosebank Craft Market.

You can also do Goldreef City & Monte Casino

Soweto? You can hop on a sightseeing Tour bus and tour Soweto

Places to stay really depend on your budget:-)

I hope i have helped a bit.
