Formalities for a UK citizen to Get married to a Mauritian?

Hi,

I'm really hoping someone can help?! I'm wanting to get married to my Mauritian boyfriend I am from the UK, I've read so many things but I'm really unsure of the process and costs and what I need to do?

Do I have to apply for a marriage visa first and if so then how long do I have before I can or should get married? What are the costs? And what documents do I need?

I'm still unclear on if I need to book a return flight? Can I book one way or book an onward flight to reunion?

I think it is safe to book a return flight just in case the authorities take their time or do not give straight away the residence permit as spouse of a Mauritian citizen.
