NEW INSURANCE POLICY REQUESTED FROM IMMIGRATION

Post new topic

zaupino

Hi to everyone,
If I'm correct since May 2016 when you apply for a Residency Visa, the Immigration Request an Insurance Policy  that covers health and deportation expenses. I red that cost is 100USD and can be buy from La Comercial de Seguros, S.A.
With this Insurance Bond no need anymore a letter from a garantor in Dominican Republic. Does anyone have knowledge about it?
Thanks

The new insurance policy ONLY covers deportation costs (repatriation insurance). It currently costs 115 USD per adult and 65 USD per child under the age of 18. More info could be found in the insurance company's website. For a list of all requirements per immigration process please visit the Immigration website.
