Hi there,

I am considering moving to New Delhi. I would be 10 months in a company doing an internship.

Anyone want to give me some advises so i can be ready for the experience?

Thanks!

Hi,

Delhi is the capital of India, quite a big city.... insane traffic (you will find out once you are here)

tons of restaurants, clubs and bars... so your weekends never will go bored,

people are quite friendly, but very business minded as well, although you can make genuine friends here

ideal would be to live near by your work place, cause the traffic can be a biatch here!

if you need any specific info, just ask

New delhi is good but not for fun actually and dont expect much or less because you cant predict the people in new Delhi.

I have visited Delhi as a foreigner several times and like any capital city people are business focused and it takes time to meet new people - but I'm from London and I found it easier in Delhi- perhaps as a foreigner people are more curious about you and yes compared to other places in India there's a pretty well developed nightlife and cultural scene- so go for it!
