Elda is a very ordinary, not exciting, inland (i.e. miles from the beach - about an hours drive I would estimate) Alicante town. To all intents and purposes Elda and Petrer are one town and I seem to remember the combined population is 90,000 ish. Fibre is available for internet in most of the town.

Warm in the summer, pleasant all year round but definitely coolish in badly prepared flats and houses in the winter months.

Renting property for someone to live in all year round is possible but there is plenty of offer. if you are asking about holiday lets then I think you're in the wrong town.
