Visit Visa and Residence Visa for Pakistani Families

Post new topic

Faraz048

Hi All, As you know that visa fees are revised from Oct-16. For family visit visa you need to pay 63 k in Pakistan in aitmad center.
So my advise is to go for residence visa. As it will cost you same amount but more benefits.

Residence Visa fee ksa= 2000 sar
aitmad center pak=11000 pkr
Medical fee pak= 7000 pkr
Medical fee ksa= 50 to 100 sar

Iqama and insurance fees mostly paid by company.

For any inquires regarding required documents, istiqdam appointment Please do ask.

Thanks for the advice. But do note that family visa is a not a replacement of a visit visa. Family visa are basically for spouse and kids exclusively; and is given to certain white-collared professionals only. A bachelors degree from a recognized University is needed with several attestations required on it.

No. This is not as tough as you are thinking. Even 3 years diploma or college certificate is also enough for visa application. Profession is other thing, my experience is if anybody have technical profession with 3 year diploma he will get visa. Thanks God they did not increase fees for residence visa.

Hi
How long does it take to get the resident visa? And my husband's company says he first needs to finish his 3 month probation
Is it better to apply online and how long do u think it will take until I can go over?

Faraz048

I think there is no problem for probation period. It can be a company policy only.

If his profession is egnineering, dr, or other good professions he can apply  online. He will get visa with in one week. Then there is procedure in your homeland which will be take more 2 weeks.

Please share your country, your husband profession, your husband education level etc for more details

Thank you so much for the prompt reply

I'm from South Africa he has a BA and he is an English teacher

Faraz048

I think he will get visa online. let him apply online and meanwhile prepare required documents. In  case he dont get online visa and you want to come here at earliest. Then go for visit visa. Because istiqdam visa process is little long and required more documents with attestations.

So you can come here on visit visa meanwhile you can prepare all documents which require for permanent visa and can apply it next time.

I also heard that fees of visit visa are under review of ministry. May be they will reduce fees soon.

Hi - thanks for the informative message.

Can i apply for a residence visa for my mother? Or is it only restricted to spouse and kids?

And I'm assuming the residence visa is a multiple visa, as in she can travel to Bahrain too?

Thanks & Best Regards,
Adnan

Faraz048

Hi Adn khan,

Yes you can apply for your mother, same procedure but some exceptions. Mostly they are rejecting visa application for parents. But you can try and fee in refundable.

You need to be married. they will not issue visa if you are single.

Take one of your arabic friend, when you go to istiqdam. Let them know the genuine reason, why you want to bring your mother here. Like she is old, she is sick. no body to take care of her.

Hopefully you will get visa for her. IA

Thanks Faraz - that was most helpful.

Have a FABULOUS day ahead.

Best,
Adnan

JazakAllah khair brother for the reply
If I am there and apply for resident visa do I need to come back to my home country for resident visa?

Faraz048

Sister, most probably you need to go back home. I heard some news that visit visa can be convert in to residence visa but there is not proof of it. May be with some extra money it can be done. But just keep in mind you may have to go back to country.

I think this is okay, You will come here on 3 months visit visa which can be extended more 03 months. Usually people go home every six months so it is normal. You can also try to convert visit visa in to residence visa even chances are very few. I can inbox you procedure for it if you want.

nashaa.mohan

I think it's going to cost to much money to go and Come back can u please inbox me the fastest way to apply for the resident visa after my husband's probation is done
