Like every other IT professional, I too have the problem of being over worked. I am plagued by wrist pain, back pain and you name it!!

Just wondering if any one can help me out!!!

this is just the start, coming next would be a severe back pain ... because of sitting in one position...
i would recommend you either to find a job that is less stressful or start a healthier routine like yoga...

in the start you will have to treat it like another job that you HAVE to do, the earnings will be 'good health'

the wrist pain, back pain are just the start... dont take this lightly, it a warning from your body that it cant take that much stress

More than the body pain it is the mental stress which makes you vunerable to all kinds of health related issues . Yoga , meditation may work or may not work , just depends on how you take to it . I would suggest gardening ,going to concerts , listening to music , good sleep ,  diverting your mind actively to activities that involve a bit of exercising like swimming , tennis .

Hey Anjali,

I feel sorry to hear about your problem.  Its the same with most of them who spend sitting for long stretches in front of a PC and that includes me too.

Exercise, play a game, eat healthy food. That's it !!!

I don't say treatments are bad IF you wanna spend the CASH for it!

hey anjali,
best thing to do is consult a professional doc.

Meanwhile what you cud do is, every 1-2 hour take a 5 mins break.
Make sure the seating of yours and your hand rest is good...
