I'M THINKING OF MOVING TO MEDITERRANEAN (!)

Hi there!

I'm from Ljubljana (Slovenia) and I'm thinking of spending half of the year (november - april) somewhere close to the sea - and where the sun is shining.

I'm after intimate places with character, good sunny weather, old and beautiful town architecture, welcome locals, amazing food, art & culture. Unfortunately I have never visited Malta and Andalusia but I think this options could be close to my ideal :) or Sicily?

I would really appreciate your help.
Thank you very much, Pia.

Pia,

Consider Altea. It's located along the Mediterranean between Alicante and Valencia and it fits the description of what you're looking for perfectly! It's breathtakingly beautiful and authentically spanish while refreshingly international. I've lived here for just over a year now, and the views still take my breath away.
