Good day !
Actually i wasnt planning to lived permanently in dominican republic, i just want to know more about distrito nacional? Because that place is where i wanted to stay if ever the time has come for me to travel dominican republic.thank you

Santo Domingo is a large city, easy to get around in, taxis are inexpensive and you can use the Metro subway easily.

Distrito Nacional is in the center of Santo Domingo. This is where you will find the nicer places to live. It's surrounded by the municipalities of Santo Domingo Este, Norte and Oeste.
