Visa conversion service?

Hello. I currently live in Baoding with a work visa. In March my work visa will expire and I would like to know if anyone has ANY information about how to convert a visa status in Baoding (if possible) or anywhere in China. For instance, from a work visa to a tourist visa.I'm trying to avoid having to go to Hong Kong for this service, so if anyone can share anything that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot.
