Speaking Arabic in Kuwait

Hi everyone, It is widely agreed that speaking Arabic is essential for a successful integration in Kuwait. Do you agree? Share your experience! Do you speak Arabic? If so, where did you learn this language? Where can one attend a language course in Kuwait? If not, how do you cope with daily activities? Is it easy to communicate in a different language with Kuwaitis? Thank you for sharing your experience. Priscilla

Ok learning Arabic duolingo or Babel I am English learned my Spanish on the street and self taught but I now want to get my basics to be polite and feel a little belonging as an expat once I get there!!!!! Hmmm maybe a while yet!!!

My husband and I will be teaching in Kuwait in August too Primary. Just sitting on papers but nowhere open!!! Excited just want to get all processed but embassy closed. Hope you are safe and well.

Hi all,
Moving to Kuwait in late August to teach. Looking forward to coming. I am having trouble from Kuwati Embassy in London finding out exactly what kind of medical I need to do? What paperwork do I need from my Doctor?. Amybody any ideas?

No we as lost as you!! I think hubby knows you can go to pall mall Manchester or Harley St pay for medical then you take it and all other bits to the enbassy but not sure it is open yet to do that!!!? Our main concern is if the 14 day quarantine still in place really complicates our doing medical fast!
