If i understand it well since the 1st of January 2017, People who work on their own in Italy (Ditta Invidividuale) only pay 24% of tax?

That's all?

How does it work for social contribution?

For instance, an independent web designer would pay 24% of tax with ditta individuale?

Dear Dotbloup,

I'm a Chartered Acccountant.

You can pay 24% flat on net income (Revenue- deductible Costs)  + Social Security contribution of 25% on your revenue

If you are below certain level of revenue you can apply for the regime forfetario and pay 15% on the revenue adjusted by a percentage (usually 78%), while the contribution stays the same
