Hi,
My wife and I are Canadians (mid 50's-60's) planning to retire in the sun and think Barbados may be the spot.
We have worked in the hospitality/resort industry for 35 years throughout Europe, Canada and the Caribbean and are familiar with the southern way of life :).  We know it's not just get and go as many hoops must be jumped through in order to succeed so any and all info or suggestions would be immensely appreciated. This is a 5 year plan that is already underway with a few fact finding trips planned.
Thanks very much.

An alternative might be Malaysia.
They have a second home system designed for retirees and some sweet beaches.

That's a little too adventurous for the likes of us, but thanks for the input. Have lived in the Caribbean and the Mrs. likes it.
Thanks again , Dave Greene
