Are all iPhone features available if purchased in Qatar?

Hi guys,

Trying to figure out if I should buy an iPhone here in NZ before coming to Qatar or if things like Facetime will work fine with the iPhones there.
Reason I ask is cos I've heard of friends buying iPhones in the UAE and not being able to use Facetime or Skype properly, cos they're banned.
I'm not sure how different these countries are when it comes to these things. Any insight is much appreciated.

in UAE the provider ETISALAT prevent those communications port,
Oordeoo still opened, dont worry about that,
if you want to buy IPhone there ,, just compare the prices if it is cheaper there get one.
