Hello ,

Im max , i have heard that you can stay legally for 2 months after your permit of stay (student) expires...
due to some critical situation in my family i wasn't able to do the permesso due to lack of money... im in the 65th day now... i would apply in few days for sure.. i just wanted to ask is it gonna be a problem for me ?

Good morning Mr. Max

The rules say that you don't have to overcome more than 60 days after the expiration of your permit of stay, but from my experience if you have all the requirments to make the renewal, they will accept it, instead if the questura makes problems with you, you have to search for a lawyer.

Regards
