Moving to Dubai- So many Questions! PLEASE HELP!

Please may you advise on salary that is comfortable for a family? ( cover housing and living costs and not struggle?) AED 25000/30/40? Or more? We dont need a decadent amount of money but would like to enjoy the move and eat out, run a family car etc - 30 to 40 reasonable.

Are residential places mostly furnished/ unfurnished? both you will get , depends upon your choice.

Can anyone advise on childcare costs? minimum 2000dhs

Are there specific agencies for healthcare clerical staff (western)? nope. apply through online.

Whats the situation with rent cheques and salaries? do companies still pay housing separately? or is it all one packet now?  rent - cheques and cash acceptable. yes company pay separately.

Mostly Companies in Dubai offer one salary package where Employee is suppose to look after his own accommodation, again it varies from company to company. Anything above AED 25000 is decent salary package, Health Insurance is taken care by the company.

In Dubai you will find lots of options of furnished and unfurnished accommodation, but the rental paid is for complete one year before shifting, it can be one cheque or in two, it depends on the terms, mostly the company makes payment on your behalf and deduct that amount from your own salary.
