Hi dear expats,

I have been offered a job in Belgium near Leuven .  Please let me know if the below salary is good to live?

Monthly:

1700 EUR net (after taxes) + Free Housing including Electricity, Water, Gas, Internet + Free Company Car including fuel + MediCare + 85 EUR Mobile Phone cost.

After 12 months I would get extra 2500 EUR(one time).

What are you thoughts on this. Is this below average? or good for an experienced professional. I would live single.

Gz,
Alice

Excellent offer. Cost of apartment in Leuven + all that you mentioned is easily around 1000-1200 extra so thats an excellent saving. Plus a company car is easily worth around 400-500/month of salary. Go for it. Good deal if not excellent.

aneesh

it is a good offer. Company provided housing is a big plus !

Thank you

Hello AliceSwear,

At first sight, it is indeed a great professional opportunity. But since no one knows anything about your career path and nothing about the position you are going to take, it is impossible to give you a more precise opinion.
